The Mentoring & Training workgroup (M&T) provides opportunities for and improves the quality of mentoring and training for students, postdoctoral fellows, and early career investigators in the CoARS network.

The M&T Workgroup conducts the Mentoring Match Program at the National Conference for Recovery Science (NCARS)to provide mentoring and build potential mentoring relationships.

We also host a Mentoring and Training session at NCARS to build connections around M&T topics.

 Our meetings are informal and focus on planning and group decision-making. The CoARS Showcase Series and Bulletin also were started by this Workgroup as a way to connect CoARS members, especially trainees and mentors, and have become key parts of the CoARS infrastructure. All are welcome to join us, especially if you want to assist with existing programs or have new ideas for programs you’d like to lead!
